Sandra Lord is the founder of the monthly Hollywood Networking Breakfast (HNB), formerly at Paramount Studios and now at Raleigh Studios, and the Chief Strategist for the Jamaican Olympic Ice Hockey Federation / Jamaican Olympic Ice Hockey Team (JOIHF/JOIHT), as well as founder of Changing Images in America (www.ChangingImagesInAmerica.org) organization founded by Ms. Lord in 1996.   Ask anyone who has been in the entertainment industry for more than a week and they will tell you … “It is who you know.” Meeting monthly, the late March gathering, hosted in the Charlie Chaplin Theatre on the Raleigh Studios lot (After 15 years at Paramount), welcomed eager patrons from as far away as Chicago, St. Louis, New York, Atlantic City and Washington D.C., as well as visiting professionals from the UK and the Peoples Republic of China.  The eclectic crowd of over 100 included individuals representing various fields of entertainment such as Casting Directors, Writers, Producers, Composers, Actors, Development, Advertising and Marketing.  What do they all have in common?  A desire to learn more about the industry that they have chosen to work and, more importantly, network with those who can help them advance themselves within their fields, either individually or together.   A partial list of recent HNB esteemed speakers includes, Ron Meyer, Craig Zadan & Neil Meron, Stan Lee, Wes Craven, Garry Marshall, Penny Marshall, Henry Winkler, John Singleton, Lynda Obst, Eric McLeod, Debra Martin Chase, Mike Medavoy, Reuben Cannon, Anthony Zuiker, David E. Kelley, John Sacret Young, Simon Kinberg, James Burrows, Ron Schwary, John Lee Hancock, Mario Van Peebles, Todd Holland, among many others. Attendees come from across the nations (New York City, Chicago, Miami, St. Louis, etc) as well asn around the world (United Kingdom, France, China, etc).
