I’d say I’m the target demographic, upper middle class and educated but decided to leave my career to raise my children. The interview with the child dev psych was great but most of the women interviewed and the host herself are the least maternal women I’ve heard of. The host openly discusses hitting her children and telling her toddlers to essentially toughen up when they experience emotions and her biggest concern seems to be that her child’s preschool refused to hit him. The real estate woman appeared to have no empathy for her children and the entire ep was about her happiness. Hopefully there is some emotional growth over the development of this pod

Liz’s podcast is excellent! Her take on being a stay at home mom after working full time is honest, genuine and smart. It is Refreshing to listen to her, especially in a counter cultural world that wants to separate women and family ❤️ 5 stars!
