“I gave this podcast a lot of opportunities, but I finally had to throw in the towel when one of the guys said that he felt Cersei got a raw deal because she played the game better than anyone else. Cersei is a character who notoriously makes shortsighted decisions that end up backfiring on her and others around her, including her family. The High Sparrow is one of the best examples of her stupidity.
Another thing is the lack of intellectual honesty. They defend so much of the show when it doesn’t make sense. I’m not looking for a spit on everything about the show podcast, but I’m not looking for a fan-tasting nothing is wrong podcast either. I thought that at least they had good insights in the books in the beginning, but that kind of fell away as well. I’ve listened to dozens of their podcasts to give it a fair chance, but I think it’s finally time to sign off.”
