Best of Audio >> The Veritas Forum ~ review by digheyseus
I was happy to stumble upon The Veritas Forum some years ago while surfing the net for sites related to Christian Apologetics. So you can imagine how awesome it was to find these podcasts on iTunes; which provides easy access (just a click) to these resources. I find that the great thing about the VF is how it demonstrates to the scholarly community that one need not commit "intellectual suicide" in order to accept the Christian Faith as a viable (and in my view the single most evidentially supported) worldview by which any thinking person would want to live his/her life. The Forum offers its platform to men and women of higher education without discrimination as to their faith or creed - be it theistic, deistic, agnostic, or full blown atheistic. In open discussion in various universities, students and faculty alike show up to listen to their professors and peers in civilized discussion; sharing one with another the reasons (or lack thereof) for holding the particular philosophy, worldview, religious faith or ideas which are important to each of them personally. All of these folks are intelligent and have been endowed with diplomas of higher education from the respective institutions from which they have earned them. So if you are interested in such questions as concerns origins (where we came from), purpose (what is the meaning of our lives; why are we here?), and ultimate destinations (is there life after death; does heaven exist?) I suggest you download some of these podcasts and listen to them with more than just a casual ear. ~ digheyseus
