“I used to like this podcast but there’s been a significant decline in quality as the show has gone on.
*Erin says “like” every second word and has an absence of self-awareness that is, quite frankly, stunning. She just loves talking about herself and turns every conversation into a story about her life. Also, she claims that every quote in the history of American television was once in her AIM profile.
*Jamie isn’t half as funny as he thinks he is and it’s quite tragic that comedic writing appears to be his occupation (he’s purposely vague about the fact he writes on a children’s animated show).
*Some episodes are RIDICULOUSLY long! There are times that Jamie and Erin have spent over half the episode discussing burritos, LA restaurants that nobody cares about, Erin’s latest life ‘crises’ and other random items before getting onto the episodes at hand. I have to listen on 1.25 speed as it’s such a chore.
*Krista was the best of the co-hosts and unfortunately leaves half-way through.
I’ll probably stick it out to the end (purely down to an irrational sense of loyalty) but I wouldn’t recommend it. These two need to listen to April Richardson’s “Go Bayside” for tips on brevity and focus.”
