“Every item appears to be dictated by a stop watch, rather than how the discussion develops.
Often a very banal choice of subject which appears to more and more be dictated by Social Mediocrity.
Too many trailers for items and other BBC programmes. I would refer to this as advertising. Not the only examples of what is supposed to be a radio station without adverts.
Any criticism of a BBC programme is always totally repudiated by a BBC producer.
I listen from 06:00 to 07:00. I know other potentially more interesting items may come later, but the repetition of many items is boring.
Why are so many items about what maybe going to happen. Why not concentrate on what has happened. It would save a lot of random speculation.
The programme probably remains the best of a gradually deteriorating bunch. Good radio is such a wonderful medium, it’s a disappointment that the quality is going down hill.”
