“I’m so sorry this happened to you and so mad nothing’s being done to fix it. I had a garage break in and 2 cars and a bike stolen years ago and I know that feeling of insecurity all too well. For the past few years I don’t go outside after dark and check crime sites before walking during the day. It’s exhausting. I saw Governor Walz on Meet the Press today and find myself resentful that he’s not working on the crime problem. Also Fry wants to raise property taxes by 6.2 percent when we’re not being protected now! I too live in a close neighborhood and was the block safety person for years, but I feel helpless when it comes to my own personal safety.”
