“I am a former Twin Cities resident who now lives on a farm in Western North Dakota. My sister moved from North Dakota and now is a Twin Cities dweller. We are each busy raising four children ranging in age from 1 to 10 years old so it can be difficult for us to find time for ourselves and to just have time to talk to each other.However, we find time every week to listen to Best to the Nest and we inevitably find ourselves discussing the topics brought up on the podcast. The recent episode about how much independence and responsibility we should give our children and at what age was especially fun for us as we compared the difference between farm kids and city kids in this area.
