Apparently Betches is for the 1% and NYC elite
I stopped listening to this halfway through. I couldn’t bear to listen to these people talk about how much money you’re supposed to spend on a wedding. $1000 PER TABLE on flowers? The little details won’t matter so you better invest in one massive mind blowing feature that costs $$$? The host commenting that her wedding budget was only $150K, as if that’s not enough? If this podcast is for the 1% and those who are able to get a lot of sponsorships for their wedding (which I assume betches founder Aleen is, given how much content they’re showing us from her pre-wedding events and planning), I will not be a listener. I don’t want to listen to something where my measly budget is belittled and how no one will remember my wedding because not everything is purple (or any specific color, for that matter). God forbid you have your wedding on a farm, as the guest on this podcast disdainfully commented on. This majorly slammed my opinion of betches as a whole. I might consider giving a second episode a listen if the content doesn’t seem so snobby and for only the NYC elite, but if that episode is also out of touch... I’m out.

I thought I’d love this because I love every other Betches podcast but Taylor is mad annoying. I love this concept for a Betches podcast but it’s really out of touch from the reality.
