“I enjoy the show as long as the host can keep Bixenspan wrapped up. His tendency to fall into wormholes usually drag the show to a complete halt. He interrupts the hosts and most guests far too often. Also, his obsession with second guessing sheet writers and bookers years after the fact is very annoying. It’s easy to be “right” when you have the benefit of history and google searches. It seems like he just can’t accept that writers may have been guessing or sharing opinions based on incomplete info. His need to call out Meltzer on decades old typos probably adds hours in cumulative show running time. I like his writing, but he often inspires me to skip entire sections of this podcast.”
