“Bob Marrs interview was outstanding. He clearly shares his experience and insights with ease and skill. As I listened to this podcast one recurring question came to mind and I’d hope he might shed some light on a point of confusion.
Many or most SPDs process vendor sets within the cases provided. Yet a number of vendor IFUs clearly state that these cases are provided for instrument organization, sterilization and storage. They are not to be used for decontamination.
Recognizing the additional work, capacity requirements and confusion associated with separating all these instruments what process advice might you offer?
