Such an awesome show!!
Really appreciate the discussion, it is absolutely pertinent and poignant to what we are dealing with today. I feel that many of the ideologies and thoughts spread by the Hebrew Israelites and Black Muslims have been so prevalent in music for so many years. Many of the “conscious” positive hip hop accepted by the majority spews this undercurrent of thought and subtly, has moved folk away from giving glory to Christ and moves it to the only way to really get deep and understand yourself as a black person is ancestral worship, calling Christianity “the white mans religion “ and self narcissistic love. However, there are Christian hip hop poets and artists out here that are teaching the unadulterated word of Christ who directly combat the current cultural narrative being spewed by so many artists. Many being stifled, canceled and muzzled by this current culture. I think this is also a space where the church has an opportunity to support and help those in a creative space glorifying Christ get the message out by simply speaking about it. We have to start with the mind, change the perception. Music is powerful and entertainment is powerful. I also believe you were spot on when you said that the Israelites take a different perspective when they look at the holocaust and remember it, they are looking at it as this is not going to happen again, it was fact it happened however we are aligning ourselves on this issue even if we stand on different political lines or beliefs. I liked how you wrapped it up as well because the Church should be the place where folk can come to get all needs met in all aspects of life. Keep the podcast going it is such a blessing, these are just a few of my thoughts, have a blessed day.

Refreshing to be able to hear Christians talk about burning issues that many pastors refuse to address.
