Putting On The Full Armor of God | Bible Daily Devotional Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. | Ephesians 6:11 This is probably one of the most quoted scriptures in the Bible. One thing we have to remember is that WE HAVE ARMOR! Don’t forget to put on the armor of God every day. These pieces are described in Ephesians as follows: loins girt with truth (belt of truth), breastplate of righteousness, shoes with the preparation of the gospel of peace (peace), shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit/word of God. Let us take truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the word of God into all things that we do. These will be our strength and our protection. Prayer: Thank you father that you put in place things for us to meditate on and take with us each day to offer us protection from the enemy. We know the battle we fight isn’t against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Help us always remember to fight in the spirit with the full protection you gave us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
