“I really enjoyed listening to this as a Nepali. However, there are a few moments when the “expat” really shines through. A lot of the things that the girls were laughing about is about context and it’s a little surprising that for people who lived in Nepal for a few years haven’t caught up? For example the whole part about women crying is because women usually stay in their parents’ home till they get married. I noticed a lot of college kids cry when they’re saying goodbye when it’s their first time leaving home, and marriage is a similar experience for women in Nepal. While I found most of it in good humor, some of it came off a bit mocking. Overall very funny but some of it could have been a little more well informed.”
