“Ed like many beat writers is more in tune to events and pressers whereas Nick’s strength is evaluation of players, system fit, and all 22 analysis.
Joe does a great job of steering the conversation and representing the voice of a fan in the room. Chris often starts talking before identifying the point he wishes to convey. This leaves him awkwardly stumbling through sentences to avoid giving others the opportunity to chime in while not actually presenting a concise point. At this point I turn off any episode I hear him in. Like Daniel Jones, I want Chris to get better rather than see him get replaced, but he hasn’t earned a 5th year option yet. Knocking on wood DJ & Chris both make the leap in 2022. 🤞🏼”
