I think this group touches on some interesting abstract ideas, but the idea of arriving at objective typings of people is pretty silly. I think what this group (and other groups like them) are doing is they’re choosing to identify as certain types (however inadvertently, through having other...Read full review »

Alexandra is like those one of those characters that show up in a later season of a TV sitcom and quickly becomes the fan favorite, there’s no imagining the gang without her. I do appreciate everyone else’s quirks and insights, I could just read a more organized summary of their thoughts online,...Read full review »

i’d say stick to john’s book and david grey’s website enneasite if you’re looking to actually learn the enneagram because these people do not fit the podcast format and just use it as a cheap ego stroke while claiming to have some authority. most episodes lack any substance except word vomit that...Read full review »

I have never left a bad review for a podcast before, but I was prompted to after listening to five or six episodes from Big Hormone Enneagram. I found the hosts to be arrogant, divisive, and defensive, and I feel that there was much wasted opportunity for helpful discourse. I have no problem when...Read full review »

I've been reading and listening to everything I could find about the Enneagram and this podcast (group) has been the absolute best, by far! Inusive, hilarious, welcoming, direct, and best of all tons of naughty humor. The breadth of knowledge in this group is vast and it's still growing...Read full review »

This pod and group of folks is what the Enneagram world needs. They create various spaces (this pod, the Enneagrammer website, Dark Arts Academy, the Facebook, the Enneagram School, etc) that facilitate deep, spiritual engagement with material that is too often passed off as just another typology.

Have some occasional good ideas but these people are really high on their own supply & so hyped up by their small group of yes-men that they are unable to absorb any criticism or alternate perspective. Talk about their haters way too often for people pretending to be above them, it reeks of...Read full review »

BHG has made a huge difference in the Enneagram world. It brought a real NEW depth with insights on all aspects of the gift the enneagram is. I have been learning and working with the Enneagram for over 20 years and was exhausted by all the rehashed, and frankly completely off content that is out...Read full review »

I am fairly new to the Enneagram world, and very grateful I found this podcast after a year of reading every book I could get my hands on. It always felt like every book or teacher would hit vague walls about concepts and I knew there was more. I first heard John speak at the Shift Enneagram...Read full review »

I am Big Hormones number one Gen Z listener! You have to listen to this podcast if you want the best information you can get on the Enneagram. I just listen to hear David Gray’s voice.

I’ve learned so much from listening to this podcast (and watching DAA videos, and getting typed) and am so appreciative of this content. Learning about this enneagram here has helped me to understand so much about myself and other people. And, it’s really funny and interesting too - highly...Read full review »

I listened to this podcast for a while and enjoyed the fresh tales and insights from this crew, but over the last while it seems they can’t help from demeaning others work while building up their own, often losing sight of what they are supposed to be discussing. I often can’t even make it...Read full review »

Highly disappointing. I value the wisdom of many enneagram teachers. However, those who choose to tear down others only demonstrates their own lack of confidence and one would have to question the person’s own ability to see the ego personality at play.

I’ve been studying the enneagram for about 5 years and always enjoy good discourse. But seriously arrogance of youth and small minded ignorance is intolerable. Recently they questioned if there is a difference between Wisconsin and Ohio. I can’t take it anymore.

Don’t bother with joining their toxic, cult-like Facebook group Enneagram[mer] Universe. They highly encourage members to retype others who obviously can’t type themselves. Only their members can’t type worth a hoot and are only parroting what their Enneagram masters say without actually using...Read full review »

Not only do I completely admire their passion for the Enneagram, but I have the ultimate respect for this podcast and the people behind it’s content. I was talking to a friend about deepening my understanding of the enneagram and she recommended this podcast. In the great tradition of wannabe gurus, David Gray is a predator of young women. This show would do best do ditch him because the inevitable predatory sex scandal he will be a part of will tank them. They even joke about what a creep he is. It’s not funny.

I’ve been studying the enneagram for over 5 years now and this is by far the best analysis of the enneagram I’ve come across. Perfect combo of intellectual discussion, sardonic takes, and good-natured jokes. It makes my 4w5 heart happy (which isn’t super easy to do 🙃)

These beasts have completely gotten under my skin. I’m 51 years old and have been doing serious transformational work for 20+ years. Seriously love this podcast. I’ve listened to so many “christian enneagram” podcasts and definitely hit a plateau on them. This podcast has a very right-brained, artistic, and 4-heavy approach to the Enneagram. The rejection energy is strong from the 458s and the pretentiousness is strong from everyone. But you know they are having fun. They are knowledgeable about the subject and they are entertaining to listen to...Read full review »

Listen with caution. Their most recent podcasts make it super clear that these guys are trapped in their egos while claiming that they are teaching for growth. High snobbery stuck in the mire of personality. Some fresh interpretations of the enneagram from the hosts but they seem to forget that’s all they are—interpretations. I enjoy a little trash talking but this can be taxing. I’d rather hear their insights than their insults.

It was funny to hear these kids try to rip apart Beatrice Chestnut and Claudio Naranjo’s work. Lets be honest, this is the only actual enneagram podcast. I recently started learning about the Enneagram and this podcast has been so helpful to me.
