Having mentored over a thousand startups across Africa, Sheilah has seen it all which has kept her working with startup out of the passion she has for growing business in Africa. Besides the work she is doing at The CoRD, she is influencing policy around the continent in her role at The Africa Innovation Policy Taskforce. "You can only negotiate when you are at the table, after that it's too late," she advices entrepreneurs in Africa about getting involved in Policy making.
