The verge of greatness
In the matter of just one episode, the podcast has become my favorite podcast of all time. I metaphorically met these magnificent gentlemen during their time on the campaign podcast and quickly fell in love with Tryst Valentine and Leenik Geelo based on their wonderful chemistry and lovable personas. Their journey through the stars from music festivals to bounty hunting conventions was the highlight of my day for so many months I, of course, missed these wonderful weirdos when the podcast transitioned from Star Wars themed to Skyjacks themed but I quickly learned that the greatness was not in the characters but in the actors themselves when my heart was instantly filled with joy as I met the marvelous Travis Matagot and Dref Wormwood and followed their adventures through the skies. My heart was broken when JPC had to leave Skyjacks and I lost out on the relationship between these two wonderful people. I quickly started listening to Dilettante Ball and Hey Riddle Riddle just to get more witty banter from JPC and Johnny. I quickly learned that both of these podcasts are phenomenal in their own way but my whole year was made when I learned my two favorite podcasters would be combining once again. Now I am a fan of pop music and an avid listener but never, in my life, did I think I would be a listener of a pop music review podcast until this day. I listen for the banter, the jokes the stories and of course the insight that these performers provide. Thank you both for the countless hours of entertainment you have given me over the last 2+ years and I look forward to many many more wonderful episodes of these extraordinary entertainers.

Such a great show. JPC and JJO are awesome and great. The show covers music that I love and have found stuff that is interesting to listen to.

I’m here because I love Johnny and JPC from all the years of Campaign, and would probably listen to them chat about anything. But this way I’ll learn about some pop songs too!

A great long form improv podcast hosted by father-son duo Tim and Dan. They embody the characters JPC and JJO, respectively, while hilariously covering pop music from when Dan was a kid. Their banter makes them sound like friends, which is great for a family podcast.
