“As others have pointed out, it is cheesy, but that’s the style of some of these Wondery podcasts. If you liked The Dating Game Killer, The Black Dahlia Serial Killers, Murder in Hollywoodland etc. then you’ll like this.
In addition, it’s an interesting case, and unlike a lot of true crime podcasts it’s not drive forward by a series of horrible rapes and murders (although there are a couple of killings) but rather the personality of a compelling sociopath and the people he manages to charm.”
