Amazing. Listen and feel your empathy grow along with your mind
I hope this show comes back I love it and it’s good to hear the reality of life for these women. The history and the lessons they can pass on from their regrets. Humanising them is amazing as people need to realise not every prisoner murdered or harmed anyone and if they had it may be an accident, self defence or defence of a child these are lines where the system needs to change and have a seperate system for that and others of zero malice. The more people hear the more we can be there to speak up for better! Drug or alcohol related should also be seperate treat it as it is an illness! Rehab and self growth facilities would benefit them more than being in a place where anything can come in where they are effected and drop further in some cases. Many low level criminals exit ready for higher and that’s again why this is amazing it opens your eyes to the faults in our system and again humanises them as more then jail birds

When I first listened I was wondering how similar it would be to Ear Hustle (US podcast made in San Quentin prison). It is completely fresh, compelling and honest. Well mixed and put together, it’s a unique and insightful listen.
