I’m really particular about my birth podcasts. I think I tried out all the others before I ended up here. The thing I like about this one is the focus on wellness for both mom and baby. I’m a bit of a holistic nut so it’s refreshing to hear someone who is so like minded. With other podcasts I ran...Read full review »

** UPDATE: I am so glad Kristen is back with great content. I am thoroughly enjoying her podcast and to those reviewers who say she rambles, I kindly recommend for you to take the time to actually listen and focus on what she is saying. Kristen balances excellent research and a professional quality of information with personal anecdotes and a humourous but passionate commitment to families. I am so grateful to have found this podcast before my second pregnancy. I listened to the fertility episode which helped me conceive through...Read full review »

Titles podcast how to xyz but then after you waste 30 minutes of your life listening to nothing about discussing the problem, the solution is, “tune into my master class”. I’ve now listened to multiple episodes now where the actual solution isn’t addressed.

I found Kristen’s solo episodes to be somewhat rambling and lacking in useful information. Her language is heteronormative and not inclusive of LGBTQ couples. I was looking forward to her episode on the Partner’s role in childbirth, and found it very disappointing and filled with stereotypes. I...Read full review »

Kristen covers pregnancy and birth from a holistic point of view. Having had two babies so far (with one miscarriage in between) and just awaiting my third I learned the hard way that this topic can only be understood and approached holistically no matter what the initial conditions/birthing...Read full review »

I started out really enjoying this podcast, but as I got more into it I started to notice hints that Kristen’s beliefs were hypocritical and backwards. Eventually, I got to an episode where she advocated against trans-inclusive language in the birthing world (even using the word “agenda” as a...Read full review »

It's so informative!!! I was looking for a pregnancy/healthy baby podcast and stumbled across this ABSOLUTE GEM. I have learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed this podcast! I was looking for something on natural child birth without all of the more New Age things mixed in. Something that would give me lots of practical knowledge about my body, my baby’s body, and what is best for both of us! This is it!...Read full review »

I googled Kristen burgess recently and was disgusted by a article I found about her husband Scott and her stance on how restorative justice should be applied to him. . . I use to think this women had integrity and could be trust worthy.... I’ll never listen to another episode again.

Such a great podcast with loads of good information however some casts with the hosts baby crying in the background really takes away / distracts from learning. I understand stay at home / working mamas it’s hard but I really wanted to concentrate and fully hear the advice.

Love this podcast. It has been so helpful through so many rough seasons and I am grateful! Would love to see more episodes that involve her faith, aka Jesus, and have that viewpoint.
