Amazing stories
Bob Kendrick does this right. Listeners learn so much about the history of Negro Leagues baseball but in an entertaining way. Every episode is filled with stories, anecdotes and facts about players and leaders from that era. We should never forget what they went through. And with congenial host Kendrick, who is every bit as congenial in his role as president and front man for the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, you couldn’t have a better teacher. Every lesson is delivered in a way listeners can hear his enthusiasm. His smile punctuates each sentence. Tune in and learn. I can’t wait to return to the museum to go through it again and maybe spend just a few more special moments with Bob Kendrick.
