Bob Kendrick is such an amazing ambassador for the story of the Negro Leagues, which is so much more than a baseball story—it’s the story of incredible players and personalities, successful Black-owned businesses in the face of Jim Crow-era racism an segregation, and the battle for civil rights. Bob’s knowledge and passion shine through in this podcast format. Black Diamonds will be a top-of-the-rotation starter in my podcast lineup!

Theres no better person than Mr. Kendrick to run this podcast. I could listen to him tell stories all day and visiting the NLBM is and has been on the top of my bucket list for quite sometime. This podcast is grade A. Definitely deserves to be listened to whether you’re a baseball fan or not.
