“Poor writing is. I don’t know when these soulless brands will understand that it takes more than a recognizable voice actor and pandering to make a good story. There’s just nothing inspiring to the story, nothing funny, nothing sincere. The announcements over the loudspeaker lead someone to believe the storyline has a commentary on working class life: it does not. Meanwhile the dialogue between the two main characters teases some sort of insight or expression of the LGBTQ+ experience, again, the story doesn’t deliver. Don’t get me wrong, the sound design and voice acting was good, but for what? Why bother? Money wouldn’t even compel me to make such a brain dead story. If this were an animated series, a pothead wouldn’t even watch it.”
