“I just recently found this podcast and I was sold immediately. I love this dynamic it’s so real and relevant to my life but it allows for the real life conversations we’re having with our girlfriends to be discussed and can even offer you another point of view. That being said, I just listened to the episode ‘Say Their Names’ and it completely changed the game for me. I love fun and games but bringing up serious and pertinent topics that are not regularly discussed to allow us to think about our cultural heritage and history critically in an environment that is still comfortable is CRITICAL to bringing these topics to the mainstream. I know this may not, at this point be objective of this podcast but, as a black woman who does not relate to mainstream media and news, I am grateful to have this as a platform to not just get some laughs but learn and grow too. Thanks y’all!”
