White Skinned People Wake Up!!!
As a white skinned person I was lucky enough to have a 7th grade, white skinned, teacher who dedicated several lessons to Martin Luther King Jr. We were encouraged to close our eyes when she played “I have a Dream” and when it ended we saw her crying. I knew, in that moment, that the Black Civil Rights movement was a very important movement. As an anti-racist white skinned person this is a must listen podcast. I have so much to learn and I am grateful to all those involved in the making of this education piece. Thank you for your time and wisdom. James Baldwin sampled at the beginning of each episode gives me goosebumps every time.
