“Really enjoy the podcast series. Living across the pond, I’m very unaware of a lot of the figures and events referenced in the podcast so have found it very informative both in understanding some US history alongside the experiences of black people (eg the prejudice they face).
At times, the podcast is an uncomfortable listen which can make me feel defensive but it’s been great to lean into that and understand where that discomfort comes from. Namely, in challenging and preconceptions I might already have. The format works well with the three hosts who all add value and create a great balance - keep up the great work!”

“There is a great need for this, the topics are fitting and there have been some phenomenal guests. My only gripe is how much the white cohosts talk — even if they say the right things, I’d rather hear them ask good questions and let the Black expert guests speak for themselves.”

“This podcast is pure gold to share with your white friends who may reiterate language like, “all lives matter / but we need statues to remember our history / I don’t see color” etc. AND could be open to new points of view.
