“I absolutely love THIS podcast and have recommended it to several friends. Every time I listen, I am amazed at the compassion and understanding of the two gentlemen! For white people to be so committed, willing to and unashamed of, and fearless in discussion and learning, then allowing Katina (forgive the spelling if wrong) to voice her truth, passion and experiences, is awesome and can only come from God. You guys get “it”. There is no reason for you to feel guilty because you’ve never enslaved anyone, been racist toward anyone nor discriminated against anyone. You’re here to learn, teach and recognize your own privilege. I appreciate all three of you! This is the BEST podcast! BTW, I just heard the Juneteenth episode. I don’t celebrate Juneteenth because it only freed the slaves in Texas. Please remember, there were still enslaved people in Kentucky and Delaware. TOTAL ending of slavery, all over the country, didn’t happen until December 6, 1865, with the passage of the 13th Amendment.”
