Welles hosts the original “True Crime” podcast
Orson Welles brings his usual dramatic flair to this true crime radio show set in Scotland Yard’s “museum of crime.” Each episode follows a different unusual object that played a role in a crime—usually murder, but not always—and recreates the crime and how it was solved. Frequently, the ending is ambiguous, and the guilty never face justice (or do they?) The accents are sometimes a little hokey, and the recording quality varies (as should be expected with a radio show from the 1950s). Recommended to any fans of history or criminology.

A wonderful and atmospheric radio show from back in the day. Orson Welles sounds amazing, the dramatic music is fantastic, and the slightly hammy voice acting and sound effects are perfect.
