The algorithm sent me to this podcast
…and it was a rabbit hole worth exploring. Before Blizzlet entered my life, I was a dumpster legend player on the Hearthstone ladder despite my best efforts. Listening to Blizzlet was a game changer. Their broad curriculum meant that I know the difference between unhinged and unglued, hit iridium rank in Destiny, and Ascension 21 on all my Slay the Spire characters. I even learnt the difference between a prion and a Prius, dived into rabbit holes worth exploring and appreciated the moistness of cards. Their concise analysis of the Hearthstone current affairs and metagame have also allowed me to transcend Hearthstone’s rankings — now, instead of a boring orange hexagon, “I can no longer lose stars at this rank”. And it is for that reason that I bestow this podcast 5 out of 5 stars. That and it is genuinely an enjoyable podcast. Keep it up (failing which, these days, they have medications if you need help…). Edit: It goes without saying that Blizzlet is a podcast that is most times Hearthstone (around 70%) and sometimes not (around 30%) — calculations verified by a maths expert.

I listen for Smarms. Stormrage and Lore are fine, but Smarms is best. Great show and highly entertaining.

Seriously they did. They were all like ‘if you listen to this pleeeeease write us a review’ sigh. Anyway, I had to google how to write a review on this app, it was a whole thing. What a pain. Seriously this is a good show. It’s a total train wreck and I love it. Super entertaining. Listen to it...Read full review »
