However, the women in this movie went so beyond the call of duty that they put the other so called “boss bitches” to shame.  Set It Off manages to display female characters who exist in a whole other realm of power, bravado, and fearlessness, while also managing to be loyal, vulnerable, tender, and often HILARIOUS, sending the three of us through the FULL range of emotion while watching.
