“Updating a review from 2018. I originally wrote “This podcast is full of great insight from the LFC experts at the Liverpool Echo newspaper. Sadly this is rendered meaningless due to poor sound quality.”
Sadly very little has changed in this period. I listen to the Analysing Anfield weekly pod every week and a handful of other ones depending on interest. It sounds to me like the recording is done in a centralised format with both participants connected remotely. It sounds like Mo is on an unreliable internet connection, which really undermines his side of the podcast as the feed pauses at random points. I understand you guys are churning out the content (boy oh boy, are you churning out the content!) but it wouldn’t really take that long for a producer to either cut out the pauses from the online recording or, as I suggested in 2018 you get each participant to record at their end and you edit the two sides together. Yes, it will mean a delay in getting the podcasts out but in the case of Analysing Anfield it really undermines the quality of the content. Totally fine with you continuing with less polished sound quality for the reaction pods following games or when talking about some breaking news.”

The extra shows are dire, whinging , moaning same issues rehashed. Neil Fitzmaurice should be funny as a nice guy but is not on this. Cheer up all.”
