“Hi guys, I first started listening to your podcast after returning home from a trip to the US in 2015. As a Hockey-Virgin, I saw a Rangers v Sens game at the Garden, with the Presidents trophy being presented before the game. We lost to the Sens! But I was instantly hooked and became a Rangers fan overnight. In hindsight, your podcast has taught me that the Rangers were probably tanking for that last round Sens game (would never happen in Australian sport, you’d probably be fined if you tanked)
When I got home to Adelaide, South Australia ... I listened to those playoffs via the radio part of the NHL app. It was torture losing to the Lightning that year. I guess I found you guys shortly after.
You’ve gotten me through a couple of drafts and off seasons, as well as truly boosted my beginners knowledge these past few years. Love Ryan’s energy and Greg’s banter.
I now stream games while I work (as a dentist) as they’re always mid-morning games here. My patients love the novelty of it and I love to keep up with the regular season. I then listen to your podcast on the way home.
