Lots of useful (and specific) recommendations
Much better than your average “here’s a cool thing” recommendation post or online review—Xeni and Mark describe the products they’re recommending, how/when/why they’ve used them, and why the products met or exceeded their expectations—AND they have a conversation about the recommendations, asking each other questions about the products and comparing them to other, similar things they’ve encountered. Their descriptions and the ensuing discussion provide the context necessary to figure out if I would also like the product they’re describing—which, sadly for my wallet, is often the case. Also, it’s just fun to listen to people talk about things they think are awesome.

More reviews of Boing Boing Gadgets
I found episode 13 with Quinn Norton the best episode yet. It was not only about gadgets but being prepared for the worst in civil unrest.

BoingBoing Gadgets is a great listen to help you find just the right tools and toys to get you through this modern life. And I love having Xeni here to stimulate the conversation.
