come for thoroughly researched folklore presentations based on archival documents that are contextualized by ridenaur’s extensive knowledge of horror folk tales and read impeccably by sarah chavez, stay for the delightfully passive aggressive banter, spooky sound effects, and ridenaur’s ability to transport the listener to an autumnal/gothic study probably inside an old country estate. i’ve been listening to this show for 3 years now and haven’t found anything like it since. it’s perfect for the halloween season or anyone interested in the history of spooky folklore. really really love this show, can’t recommend it enoughs
