This 4th of July, we're celebrating our financial independence from debt. ​Like many of you, my husband and I are achieving some of our long-held financial goals too.  We made the last payment on our mortgage.  I don't know if it's possible to be any more relieved.  Getting to this point, was a windy and bumpy road filled with setbacks, sacrifice, and many get-back-on-track-talks.
