Perfect way to find hidden gems
Great podcast, funny and well though out reviews. I used to love going to blockbusters and picking up three random dvds for £10, I saw so many weird and wonderful movies that way. Now it feels like everything I’m presented is Netflix’s best guess or what they’re trying to sell this month. With “Bottom of the stream” I’m finding those weird movies again, some great (little evil), some ok (I think we’re alone now) and some that are just the worst (Sierra Burgess is a loser).

This show does very important work - it encourages us to consider the movies that haven’t gotten a lot of love on the streaming services. They helped me discover “Hush”, “Buster’s Mal Heart”, and “Emo The Musical”. These guys are awesome. You should definitely check them out!
