Geraldine Brooks remembers
I did enjoy the Boyer Lecture this year. Geraldines turn of phrase, academic approach, scholarship and depth of thought was delightful. While Australia was obviously a theme and those of us resident here enjoyed her reminicenses, her own longings translated into 'why are you there?'.Despite 'home' being a place a partner and career pulled stronger. Well done ABC for facilitating this series and podcasting it for flexible listening.
