Fascinating
Im a 15 year "veteran" in the world of advertising & marketing and have been lucky enough to experience and survive 10 years (does that make me a veteran?) in the new media space. I find Rupert Murdoch both inspirational and fascinating. Personally, I love that he is so passionate about the new media landscape.I love that he continues to champion and promote the importance of quality content (not the delivery channel) and that he cares enough about the future of Australia to both a) write; and b) present this series of lectures. I admire his foresight, his wisdom and his passion. As a regular speaker myself, I'm often asked if I could have dinner with anyone in the world who would it be - my answer is always, Rupert Murdoch (and I'd secretly hope he'd bring his friends from Microsoft and Google with him!) This Boyer Lecture series has been beyond inspirational so thankyou and congratulations to both ABC Radio National and to you Mr Murdoch for an extremely rich content experience. As a SHU (Super Heavy User!) of digital media, I enjoy choice - and I thank you and applaud you both for giving me the choice and opportunity to listen to this series while Im at the gym, at my desk, in my car and...more often than not...in an airport departure lounge. And as a 37 year Australian - I'm ashamed to say that I've never once listened to ABC Radio National prior to this series being made available to iTunes. But I'll be back.
