fun, kid sized science
I am a 18 listener of many podcasts like Radiolab, This American Life, Invisibilia, and Serial I found this podcast when looking for something to listen to with my 9 year old sister. It is shorter which is good for kids like my sister who have trouble focusing for too long. It is the perfect mix of silly and kid friendly but it is also extremely informational! It is full of kid sized definitions of somewhat difficult scientific ideas which the occasional vocab word thrown in. It gets us to talk to each other about interesting and creative things. Particularly when we’re shouting out guesses about the mystery sound. This is science in a way kids can understand and enjoy.

More reviews of Brains On! Science podcast for kids
My seven year old LOVES this show. We have a few laughs and learn lots of new things. After listening to the episode about bridges and tunnels, he built his own bridge with some PVC pipes and other materials at his brother’s preschool - AMAZINGLY fun!
