Esther holds a degree in Translation & Interpreting Skills from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain) and an MA in International Relations from Durham University (Durham, England). She has worked on both sides of the Atlantic as a certified translator & interpreter, university professor, and language access consultant. Experienced in leading multicultural and diverse teams, she led a team of over 75 interpreters and translators for a large Massachusetts hospital system. Currently, she directs Interpretation Programs for Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS), headquartered in Arlington, VA. where she is responsible for all commercial and government interpreting programs. She is passionate about elevating the quality of the interpreting profession and has won an Innovation Award for her work around team building in healthcare. Tune in!
