Ahead of the local government elections in September, as few as one prospective new candidate (currently not elected) have attended the new councillor/candidate information sessions organised by council, according to Griffith Mayor Doug Curran. In his weekly chat with Riverina MIA Triple M Breakfast, Cr Curran offered his own theories on why there's been such little interest in new persons running for council.
