Thanks, Kelley
Most of the reviews here are pretty old. True, this podcast was a bit too insider-y and self-congratulatory in the beginning. But over the years it has evolved into a truly insightful and fascinating look at the crew and the work behind Breaking Bad. Guests have included director Michelle MacLaren, director Rian Johnson, DP Mike Slovis, music director Dave Porter, the casting director, many other important crew members, and every one of the show's major stars. If you are a casual viewer, these talks might bore you. This podcast is an excellent resource for the serious fan. After each episode, Reddit fills with the same questions, and almost all of them are anticipated and answered in the podcast. Listening to Breaking Bad Insider has really deepened my enjoyment of the show, and my understanding of how television is made. Does the show veer into self-congratulation? Well, occasionally it does, even in the fifth season. But taken as a whole, this podcast is a must for the serious fan.

From discussions about how the writers breaking down episodes over the...Read full review »

The stereo panning of the different participants makes everything harder to hear; there are startling shifts...Read full review »
