“"Breaking Bad" is currently my favorite TV show. Fantastic writing, directing and performances.The podcast, however, is a tad cloying and disjointed for my taste. The participants should be very proud of their work, but perhaps they should be more aware that the podcast veers so heavily into self-congratulation as to be distracting ("You're so amazing," or "That's such incredible work we did" "Those guys are the best in the business," etc.). Please don't get me wrong--love the show and have immense respect for the creative people who make it happen. I enjoy hearing the backstory on how things work, especially why story decisions were made--and naturally they're going to be complimentary of their exceptionally talented coworkers, but it gets to be an annoying distraction.”
