Book and show are not equivalent
Appreciate your passionate views. Consider remembering that what works on a page doesn’t work on the screen. My gut reaction was the show didn’t live up to the books but on (multiple) rewatching I realized how much the writers considered showing on screen the depth of Anthony and Kaye’s motivations and the chemistry was Electric! Take a beat and appreciate the intense work and beauty of season 2. This season is WAY hotter and more compelling storytelling than the first.
