Firstly, Olivia!! Your voice is so alluring and I LOVE the pace with which you speak. And the depth of your knowledge, girl! Being a spiritual psychologist is super intriguing. Thank you for your perspective on life!
Rachel, YOU are the reason I’m here! I loved you instantly when I first watched the OC, ever since, and fell in love again rewatching the OC recently. (I thought it would be redundant, but was the best use of my mommy down time!). I decided to then look to see what you were up to, which has led me to here! To Broad Ideas!
What a podcast!! (And theme song!!) It’s fresh. It’s real. It’s shocking. It’s honest. It’s adorable and what this world needs in so many ways. Plus your friendship is admirable. I still have quite a few episodes to go, but listened to all your recent shows and just started back at the beginning. Okay, I have to say that I think I need Kristen Bell in my pocket. I have two girls, 7 & 10 and her sex talk to her children was unreal. Can I book her to come to my house?!!!
Anyways, I could go on and on, but I will end with this. I truly believe that we can be anything we want and succeed at anything we give our energy to. A big believer in positive affirmations, I want to leave you Rachel, with this… “I am a Disney Princess.” I honestly believe that if you say this over and over, and picture what you will look like, (what does your dress look like???!!!) you can manifest it into your life. You would be the most adorable Disney Princess ☺️
And Olivia, as a mom of a special needs child also, I love when you said you wouldn’t change it for the world. My 7 year old was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 8 months old and I always tell her that she is such a gift to our family.
Everything is here to teach us something and it’s so refreshingly wonderful to have found my tribe!! I often listen while I’m at work in my cottage kitchen in the forest ( I make healthy food for the farmers market in Toronto ☺️) and my boyfriend said the other day that he has never heard me laugh more. I feel like I’m hanging out with dear friends. Thank you for reaching deep into my being and saying the things that need to be said. 💚”
