Description
Tyson Foerster broke a 1-1 tie late in the second period with his 15th goal of the season, and followed it up with a goal off a penalty shot 45 seconds later to give the Flyers a 3-1 lead as the middle frame came to a close. Philadelphia outshot Ottawa 19-4 in the first period, but came up short on 3 power play opportunities leaving the door opened for the Senators to get back in it, which they did with an early Vladimir Tarasenko goal in the second. The Flyers finally closed out the Senators, who won the first 2 games of the season series by a total score of 10-5. Bill, JP, and Charlie break down the action, including some rumors about Flyers prospects, and where exactly Foerster stands in this year’s rookie scoring race, as well as where his numbers lineup historically in Philly.
