Listen now
Description
With head coach John Tortorella serving the first of his 2-game suspension from the Tampa Bay Debacle, the Flyers faceoff at home against the San Jose Sharks, the second worst team in the NHL. The game was penalty ridden (8 power plays, 20 PIM through first 40 minutes), and after 2 periods, tied at 2. Owen Tippett ended a slump to net the go-ahead goal in the 3rd, but the margin for error was still slim against a team poised to play spoiler on Philly’s Stanley Cup Playoff hopes. The Flyers hang on to win 3-2, and Bill, JP, and Charlie discuss the shark attack and the tough schedule ahead for the Orange and Black. Learn more about your ad choices.
