What an awful game. The Philadelphia Flyers slept through the first two periods, then had a couple of goals disallowed for a kicking motion and offside in the third period, and so began the most important stretch of the season with a whimper. Philly played a bit more inspired/desperate in the final frame, but when you give away the first two periods you need everything to break your way, and that simply wasn’t the case for the Orange and Black on Thursday night.
