Racial lens
The abuse and death of these beautiful human beings is tragic, no matter where you fall in the racial spectrum. Debates on white privilege, racial divides, and sexual orientation do little to get us to a more peaceable existence. Of course we should be outraged about the crimes committed, while still condemning the divide that only gets bigger as we determine who can speak on a tragedy because of a victims race and background. We as human beings have the moral obligation to call out evil, however it may exist, regardless of race, sex, sexual orientation, or other factors that determine individuality.
